Bridge Companies, Inc. (Bridge Medical) has recently become aware of consumer reports involving unsolicited shipments of medical equipment associated with the name “Bridge Medical.”

We want to clearly state that Bridge Companies, Inc. is not affiliated with these shipments and is not involved in billing Medicare or supplying unsolicited durable medical equipment to consumers.

Several individuals have contacted our company believing we were responsible for products they received unexpectedly. Based on these reports, we are concerned that another entity may be using the “Bridge Medical” name in a manner causing consumer confusion.

If you received medical equipment that you did not knowingly order:

• Do not provide additional personal, insurance, or Medicare information to unknown parties

• Review your Medicare Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements carefully

• Report suspicious activity to Medicare or the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (HHS-OIG)

If you contacted us regarding such a shipment, please know that we appreciate the information and are actively documenting reports provided by consumers.

If possible, please email us:

• photos of shipping labels,

• invoices or paperwork included with the shipment,

• and any sender or tracking information.

This information may help authorities investigate the matter.
