Will it hold on my surface?
If the surface is smooth, non-porous, and flat — fiberglass, acrylic, glass, or smooth ceramic tile — yes. Textured tile, stone, grout lines, and painted drywall will not hold a seal.
How much weight will it support?
In independent Intertek lab tests on tempered glass, the average force needed to pull each bar straight off the wall was 324 lb (Single Grip), 239 lb (Telescoping Grip), and 183 lb (Tile Grip). How well it holds at home depends on your surface and how well the pads are seated. Use it for balance and support, not to catch a full-body fall.
Will it damage my tile or tub?
No. Nothing to drill, no adhesive. The pads lift off cleanly and leave no marks on non-porous surfaces.
Which model fits 4-inch tile?
The Tile Grip. Its smaller 3.7" pads seal inside a single small tile face without crossing a grout line.
What does the lifetime guarantee cover?
Defects in materials and workmanship, for as long as you own the bar. It doesn't cover misuse, or a bar mounted on a surface it isn't designed for. See the warranty for details.
